A forward-thinking approach typifies Frederica’s 25 years as a leader in advertising and design management. Her passion is innovative creative work that communicates and addresses the client's brief flawlessly. She ensures this by listening to and interpreting a client’s needs, interrogating the brief until it is as strong as it can be, and surrounding herself with like-minded, talented people who also 'get it.'

In 1996 Frederica established Canberra’s first communication agency, MA@D Communication. The organisation pioneered the web design industry in Canberra, winning several significant international awards along the way.

In a move typical of Frederica’s progressive thinking, she embraced the opportunity to merge MA@D with ZOO in late 2007 and broaden the firm’s scope and potential.
